WHAT TO EXPECT
If you’ve never had eyelash extensions, you’re not alone. More than 60% of our guests have never had eyelash extensions before, so we know that you have a lot of questions.
How are the lashes applied?
Amazing Lash eyelash extensions are applied individually to your natural lash with a medical grade adhesive. The eyelash extensions are never applied to your skin.
Are they going to ruin my natural lashes?
Properly applied eyelash extensions should never compromise your natural lashes. If you have experienced problems before, the extensions were not applied properly. At Amazing Lash, we do not apply lash extensions to new growth or weak lashes. Our Lash Stylists will let you know the state of your natural lashes during your consultation and will inform you of any gaps in your lashes or other observations during your service. Our goal is to protect the integrity of your natural lashes while giving you the look that you desire.
How long will the appointment take?
Your first full set will take approximately 2 hours. Refills take between 50 minutes to 1 hour. During that time, you are lying on a comfortable massage table covered with a soft blanket. Most of our guests take “lash naps” during their service.
Are your Lash Stylists licensed?
All Lash Stylists are required to have a current Florida cosmetology or esthetician license.
What if I have an allergic reaction?
Some guests experience an allergic reaction to the adhesive. If you have experienced sensitivities in the past or are concerned about a reaction, we do offer a patch test free of charge.
If you experience a reaction after a full application, you can come in for a removal.
Can I workout with my lashes?
Your eyelash extensions should not prevent you from engaging in your regular activities. As long as you make sure to wash your lashes before and after working out, going to the beach, etc., your lashes will be just fine.
I’ve heard that eyelash extensions require a lot of maintenance.
Maintaining your lashes is easy! It should be a natural part of your daily routine that only takes a minute. You need to wash your lashes twice daily with a water-based, oil-free cleanser and brush them when dry.
You’ll want to come in to the studio for refills to ensure that your lashes maintain the full look that you desire. Most guests schedule refills every two to three weeks.
